The idea of making African baby wraps came to me when my mother in-law went to Africa for a missions trip and came home and blessed me with one. These baby wraps are incorporated in an African woman’s daily life they take the children to work with them so the can provide for their families( no maternity leave for them). We all know how little we accomplish when we have a new baby in the house, every thing is left till either baby is sleeping or we have someone else around to help. I find using my wrap is double purpose I  have my precious Anna with me (and she has her mommy right there), and she doesn’t slow me down. I can work around the house or play with Gabe and have two free arms to do it. This wrap has helped me not feel so limited to go out and do alot more because of it. In Africa this wrap is part of how their culture functions with out it moms are unable to work! and now its apart of how our family  functions….
